Calm Companions Life Skills Class
Thinking of getting a new puppy? Or maybe you just brought one home and are wondering what to do next. This is a common thread I encounter on a daily basis as a Veterinarian. And as joyful (or sometimes daunting) as it might seem, getting your new puppy prepared for life in his or her new household can be a pleasant and rewarding experience.
Bringing up a puppy to be a well-balanced , calm and responsive dog is based on understanding how your individual dog learns, what motivates him or her and how they respond emotionally to new situations.
A well run puppy class will help teach both you and your puppy how to work together to build a solid relationship right from the start; helping your puppy become a calm, well behaved part of your family.

Our unique program overview
Attend our Intro/Orientation Session on a Thursday or Sunday – without your puppies, to allow you to learn the fundamentals without distractions. Completing this session is a compulsary pre-requisite to attending any of our classes. You can also opt for a private in home Intro session*
Following weeks are indoor sessions with small class numbers and a safely set up environment or no-stress learning opportunity. Groups are small (2-4 pups only) – this way we can make sure to provide high quality, personalised service, so guardians and pups can have the most effective learning.
Dedicated individualised support for you and your puppy with any early behaviour challenges (please note: house call visits to address more significant behaviour concerns will incur extra charges, please speak to team if you are interested in private puppy-set up consultations at your home).
